Sometimes, the Answer Is “It Depends.”
In both business and life, the answers we seek are not always clear-cut. More often than not, we land on something that feels incomplete—something like, “it depends.” And truthfully, that’s not a cop-out. It’s reality. Life comes with layers, nuances, and timing we can’t always control.
Stop Blaming Others and Take Ownership.
Life is not easy. It’s often messy, unpredictable, and downright exhausting. Many people are quick to point fingers—blaming others, their past, or the system for their current situation. But I’ve learned that growth only comes when we stop the blame game and take responsibility. Even so, let’s be honest: as much as we’d love to believe we’re in complete control, we’re not—and guess what? That’s okay.
God’s Plan Is Bigger Than Our Understanding.
A reminder comes from Jeremiah 29:11 in the NIV version of the Bible:
“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.’”
It doesn’t stop there. Proverbs 3:5-6 gives us more to hold onto:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
I Struggle Too—And That’s Part of the Journey.
Let me be real: I struggle. Constantly. I try to muscle through everything with my strength, but I fail more often than I care to admit. But those verses remind me—over and over again—that trust and surrender are not weakness. They’re the path to absolute clarity.
So, Do You Need More Direction, Too?
That last verse always hits me like a brick. Because I know deep down, I need more direction. I need more clarity. Maybe you do too? If so, you’re not alone.
Let’s stop pretending we’ve got it all figured out and start leaning into something greater.
