Talking To The Wind

Talking To The Wind

Building something big takes time.

The development of this website began over a year ago, but it went live on May 26, 2025. Since launch, I’ve uncovered massive code issues across nearly every page—issues that directly hurt SEO. Even something as basic as sourcing royalty-free images became a frustrating challenge. Despite spending over $800 on photos, most ended up completely useless. When you’re dealing with 1,700 pages and aiming for over 13,000, every detail matters, especially when you’re working on a shoestring budget and haven’t earned anything yet—except a lone $0.35 referral link.

Progress rarely feels fast.

Right now, I feel like a hamster on a wheel. I’m working constantly, yet I’m not as far along as I hoped. But here’s the truth: I’m not giving up. I’m not slowing down. Instead, I’m pressing forward with grit and focus, even when momentum seems slow.

Purpose drives the late nights.

This website and blog are now an extension of me. They capture my voice and, hopefully, my passion. I genuinely want to help people succeed, and this site is how I plan to do that. It’s more than a hobby—it’s a mission.

Sometimes it feels invisible.

Currently, it feels like I’m talking to the wind. The daily traffic is embarrassingly small, almost laughable. I joke that I’d be better off standing at my neighborhood entrance with a sign. Maybe I’ll hold a banner showing the URL—or better yet, rent a billboard! Humor helps when you’re in the trenches.

The work still matters.

Despite the struggles, the effort matters. Every bug fixed, every image sourced, and every post published builds the foundation. Some days it feels like shouting into a void. But one day, someone will hear the echo and respond.

Growth follows perseverance.

I remind myself that everything starts small. The only difference between a whisper and a roar is time and consistency. Six months from now—or six years from now—this project will be something bigger. Talking to the wind doesn’t mean I’m not being heard.

Keep talking through the silence.

Even when I feel invisible, I believe this message will find its audience. That’s why I keep talking to the wind.
