Something Just Doesn’t Seem Right

Something Just Doesn’t Seem Right

11-06-2025

What is going on?

Is it just me, or do you have a gut feeling deep down inside that something doesn’t feel right? The stock market is hitting record highs. Inflation is not in control. Sure, a few things have gone down in price, but overall, the dollar’s purchasing power continues to decline. Gold and silver have reached record levels, but then the prices are suppressed, and you see enormous price swings.

Employment.

While the supposed unemployment number is low, wages are not keeping up with rising costs. Large companies are having massive layoffs as AI is increasingly integrated into more businesses. Everyone is predicting that AI will eliminate jobs and the entire market will shift. No one is providing a solution for the employees who will lose their jobs. If, in less than five years, everywhere has self-driving vehicles, where will all the truck drivers and Uber drivers go?

Wars and Civil Unrest.

The crisis in the Middle East, as well as Ukraine, is far from over, and China seems poised to take over Taiwan eventually. At this point, Russia shows no genuine interest in ending the war. There do not appear to be any solid answers or clear strategies for resolving these global conflicts.

Debt and Education.

Far too many people in America are living paycheck to paycheck. Credit card debt is out of control. The younger generation has been sold a bill of goods—forced to rack up thousands of dollars in student loan debt for degrees that may not yield a worthwhile return. Before anyone chooses a major, they should be required to perform a real return-on-investment calculation. They should have to look at the actual job market for that degree and the realistic salaries those jobs offer.

So, what’s next?

It feels like the world is teetering on a delicate balance. We’re being told everything is fine—markets are strong, unemployment is low, innovation is thriving—but beneath the surface, there’s a growing sense of instability. People feel it in their wallets, their workplaces, and their everyday lives.

Maybe it’s time to take a step back and question the narrative. To stop accepting surface-level explanations and start preparing for the deeper shifts happening all around us. The future isn’t something to fear—but it’s something we need to face with awareness, adaptability, and honesty.

Something doesn’t seem right, and perhaps that feeling is the warning sign we all need to start paying attention to.
